July 1, 2006, Seattle, WA - Each year, 24,000 residential construction workers are injured on the job. To help contractors and their workers become more aware of jobsite hazards, BMI produced a safety video for DuPont Safety Resources called Building on Safety. The film, available on DVD, helps residential construction workers identify worksite hazards and increase awareness of some of the most common accidents. This 23-minute video, produced in both English and Spanish, looks at people, tools, personal protective equipment and worksite organization to help workers become more aware of ways to improve safety on a construction site and reduce on-the-job injuries.
