BMI developed this technical site to help the State of Michigan educate code officials as the State revised and updated its statewide construction codes. Better knowledge helps them more effectively enforce and inspect for building code regulations. Builders, architects and others who need building product information, installation details and performance standards guidance also use the site to help them comply with the revised codes. BMI worked in partnership with Michigan's Bureau of Construction Codes & Fire Safety to develop and implement this unique Internet-based training approach.
